Craft Beer Rising is an event that is very close to our hearts, because we’ve been with the team right from the very start. In 2016 the team decided it was time for a refresh. They wanted to make more of the brand and give it a completely new look and feel. CBR was born.
For the new CBR branding, we took our inspiration from a cheeky taxidermy fox that had been to every festival since they started but that, had recently been stolen! We morphed the classic fox image into a polygonal foxy character, giving him a diamond cut look with bold colours and eyes you can’t quite look away from.
The design was used across the new, fully responsive site that included
an easy to update CRM system. An intelligent addition saw us create ad
real estate so the website essentially paid for itself. The fox icon was also
used to decorate the iconic Truman Brewery in Shoreditch for the event
and we even created animated holograms of the fox so people could
interact with him after a beer or three.
